NASCAR Chicago Street Race will celebrate their partnership with The Chicago Park District with a special race week Pit Stop at Mandrake Park, with Ellis Park campers invited to join in on the festivities. The experience will feature a visit from 2024 NASCAR Chicago Steet Race Interns, a ticket giveaway, and a change for campers to see a NASCAR pace car and fire suit up close.

This event brought together hundreds of skaters from across the Chicagoland area to showcase their skills for a chance to win prizes and medals. The top five winners received a pair of tickets to Chicago Street Race Weekend.

The Chicago Street Race weekend officially began with a celebratory Pit Stop during race week at Columbus Park, with Mayor Brandon Johnson and the Tate Brothers. NASCAR provided complimentary tickets to the 2023 Chicago Street Race to everyone in attendance at the Austin Facility on Chicago's far West Side.

The Chicago Street Race sponsored summer camp registrations for 220 kids, in honor of every lap of the Grant Park 220. As a nod to the Chicago Street Race, the Chicago Park District's summer camp was racing themed, including a talented dance group that have gone on to showcase their amazing dance skills as well as their racing-themed costumes at various events throughout the city.

NASCAR Chicago was proud to support and enhance the gaming and e-sports equipment across the Chicago Parks District's Teen Centers. Each Teen Center received new gaming PCs, Logitech wheels and pedals, an assortment of NASCAR video games and NASCAR Chicago Street Race flags. Archer, Blackhawk, Brighton, Carver, Columbus, Hamilton, Holstein, Kennicott, Robichaux, Washington Parks as well as Chicago Park District Headquarters each received the upgraded equipment suites to help support youth eSports.

Over 400 teens from 20 different parks came together to compete and cheer each other on. Teens were excited to earn trophies, awards, and prizes. The Chicago Street Race team brought out a pace car, tent, remote controlled car course, and distributed promotional merchandise. The top three winning teams received Chicago Street Race mini helmets. The winning team, Tilton Park, received a pizza party sponsored by Lou Malnati's

Performers included singers, rappers, dancers, and poets between the ages of 14 - 24. The NASCAR team was on-hand to bring a Chicago Street Race pace car, remote controlled car course, and giveaways.
