ALL KIDS BIKE
The NASCAR Chicago Street Race and The NASCAR Foundation visited kindergarten students at Eli Whitney Elementary School in Little Village as a part of a partnership with the national nonprofit All Kids Bike - which is dedicated to providing kindergarteners across the country with the equipment, materials, and skills they need to learn to ride a bike.
CITY COLLEGES OF CHICAGO
In collaboration with City Colleges of Chicago, the NASCAR Chicago team established a local internship program. Interns served as Chicago Street Race ambassadors, charged with promoting and building awareness for the event throughout the city. The NASCAR Chicago Street Race hosted a creative design competition for students at Kennedy-King College to help us bring the story of the legendary Richard Petty to life at the 2024 Chicago Street Race.
COLUMBIA COLLEGE INTERNSHIP
Students received hands-on experience with speaker placement, cable connections, amp installation and setup, and overall system execution. NASCAR hired interns from the school’s undergraduate Audio Arts program to work with the Chicago Street Race’s audio / visual vendor on the state-of-the-art PA system for the event weekend.
TROPHY ARTISTS
NASCAR Chicago worked with the Department of Cultural Affairs & Special Events to identify local artists to create a trophy for the Chicago Street Race that elicited the spirit of the city in which they were created. Thomas Lucas, a protégé of the world-famous sculptor Richard Hunt, created the NASCAR Cup Series trophy. Nicole Beck was selected to design the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race trophy.
WARDS 365
NASCAR Chicago Street Race participated in the 27th Annual Christmas in the Wards celebration, which brings holiday cheer to families selected by school and community officials throughout Chicago. Also, NASCAR Chicago Street Race sponsored the inaugural Summer50 Fest, hosted by Wards 365, an event that is intended to be an active & engaging resource fair for youth & families. The team activated with a pace car, rc course mat, and giveaways.
LIGHT UP LAWNDALE
NASCAR Chicago Street Race participated in the 5th Annual Light Up Lawndale Tree Lighting Ceremony, sponsored by Ald. Monique Scott (24th Ward), for the residents of the North Lawndale community. The event featured food, music, games and photos with Santa!

NOCHE BUENA AUTO SHOW
CITY OF CHICAGO & ALD. RAMÍREZ NOCHE BUENA AUTO SHOW
This community event celebrated Mexican culture in the McKinley Park neighborhood, with food, music, entertainment, free groceries and an auto show. The Chicago Street Race team brought out a pace car, RC Course mat, and giveaways.
DANIEL'S AMIGOS
Daniel's Amigos, a nationwide community initiative hosted by Trackhouse Racing driver Daniel Suárez, brought together Hispanic food vendors, businesses, and musicians for a family-friendly celebration in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood.
DUSABLE BLACK HISTORY MUSEUM
In honor of Juneteenth, the DuSable Black History Museum hosted a day-long celebration featuring live performances, activities, and a panel discussion featuring NASCAR Cup Series Pit Crew members.
NAVY PIER
NASCAR hosted a free and open to the public Fan Fest for guests to experience NASCAR Night at Navy Pier, drawing thousands to the beating heart of Chicago's tourism industry.
IMPACT DAY
The Chicago Street Race team volunteered with Light Up Lawndale to put up thousands of lights in the city's North Lawndale neighborhood as a part of NASCAR's global employee day of service.
As a part IMPACT Day, NASCAR's national employee volunteer day of service, the Chicago Street Race team volunteered at Erie Neighborhood House in Noble Square to help beautify spaces and assemble snack packs.
