The My CHI. My Future. The initiative aims to connect every young person in Chicago with meaningful, safe, and engaging out-of-school time programs. The Chicago Street Race team provided giveaways and raffled off two pairs of tickets to the Chicago Street Race.

NASCAR Chicago was proud to participate in Columbia College Chicago’s celebration of graduating student works, including 100+ exhibits, screenings, readings, showcases, presentations, and more. The NASCAR Chicago team brought out a pace car and spoke with students and families about the upcoming Chicago Street Race and opportunities within the motorsports industry.
AFTER SCHOOL MATTERS

NASCAR Chicago partnered with After School Matters on a mural painted by teens from Gately Park and Gallery 37. The artwork for the 200-foot, 50-panel NASCAR-themed mural was showcased in Butler Field during race weekend. In addition, the program participants were gifted tickets to the race and were able to see their masterpiece on full display.
PUERTO RICAN FESTIVAL

The NASCAR Mobile Museum and the Chicago Street Race team participated in the Fiestas Patronales Puertorriqueñas festival held in Humboldt Park. The Chicago Street Race team activated with a tent, RC course mat, pace car.
TASTE OF CHICAGO POP-UP AND HOUSE MUSIC FESTIVAL

The Chicago Street Race team attended Chicago’s favorite dance party that took over the beautiful Humboldt Park Boathouse lawn, June 24. The festival was designed to celebrate the unique genre born in Chicago that has gone on to revolutionize dance music internationally. The NASCAR Chicago team joined the festivities with a pace car, remote controlled car course, promotional giveaways, and tickets to the race.
CHICAGO PRIDE PARADE

NASCAR was proud to be featured in the annual Chicago Pride Parade, the city's second-largest parade that attracts more than 1 million people to multiple northside neighborhoods, particularly East Lakeview.
BUBBA'S BLOCK PARTY
2023-2024
NASCAR hosted Bubba’s Block Party at DuSable Black History Museum & Education Center where attendees had the opportunity to meet NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace and vibe with live performances from acclaimed hip hop artist Lupe Fiasco. In 2024, NASCAR brought back Bubba's Block Party to Chicago! This initiative aims to focus on bringing awareness and visibility to NASCAR among the Black community.
BUD BILLIKEN PARADE
2024-2025
The Bud Billiken Day Parade is the largest African-American parade in the United States, held annually on the city's south side on the second Saturday in August. The parade route travels on Dr. Martin Luther King Drive through the Bronzeville and Washington Park neighborhoods.
The Chicago Street Race was thrilled to showcase a pace car in 2024 and 2025, and had a team of volunteers walking in the parade. NASCAR Chicago also had a presence in the event’s festival footprint with an iRacing simulator, remote controlled cars, kids coloring area, and a live painting display featuring Paint the City.

MEXICAN INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE

Hosted by the Little Village Chamber of Commerce, the Chicago Street Race team participated in the 26th Street Mexican Independence Day Parade in 2023 and 2024, in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood. This is the largest Mexican Parade in the Midwest with 500,000+ attendees. The Chicago Street Race team showcased our newest pace car, a Chevy Camaro, adorned with a Mexican flag. We were joined by the teen dance troupe at After School Matters, who danced their way down 26th Street.
CHICAGO ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE

The annual Chicago St. Patrick's Day Parade is one of the largest St. Patrick's Day parades in the country and a centerpiece of the city's unforgettable St. Patrick's Day celebrations. The NASCAR Chicago Street Race team participated with a pace car and volunteers walking in the parade.
MAG MILE LIGHTS PARADE AND FESTIVAL

The Chicago Street Race team walked in the mile-long extravaganza that drew more than one million celebrants. This is the largest nighttime parade in the U.S. - a spectacular parade down Chicago's Michigan Avenue.
The NASCAR Chicago Street Race Team returned to the Mag Mile Lights Parade in 2024, with a pace car and a special presentation by Ms. B's dance troupe.

PEACE PALOOZA
2024
The 4th Aldermanic Office hosted a beach-side party for a night of Summer fun featuring Grammy-award-winning artist Vic Mensa. This event was part of a community safety initiative to create opportunities for young people to assemble in a safe space. The NASCAR Chicago Street Race team sponsored the bounce houses and brought out a pace car, SIMs, RC course mat and giveaways.
