Speed SZN introduces and drives awareness of the sport to diverse young audiences through an exclusive race day experience, hosted by NASCAR’s Growth and Engagement Advisor, NFL-legend Alvin Kamara.
NASCAR partnered with local organizations such as Black Sports Professionals, Metropolitan Board of the Chicago Urban League, the Divine 9 and others to host 200 guests each day for the program, which included music and food from local Black-owned businesses. NASCAR also hosted a Speed SZN ticket giveaway on local radio stations while also promoting the race.
