AUTO SHOW | 2025
The NASCAR Chicago Street Race once again partnered with the Art Institute of Chicago on a one-of-a-kind Toyota Camry pace car, on display at the 2025 Chicago Auto Show from Feb. 8-17.
The 2025 official promotional pace car features the iconic 1942 Edward Hopper painting “Nighthawks,” which is an internationally beloved American icon in the permanent collection at the Art Institute of Chicago. The NASCAR Chicago Street Race will return to Grant Park on July 5-6, 2025. In time for the third installment of NASCAR’s only street race, the Art Institute will be open six days a week allowing visitors more access than previous years.

In continuation of this ongoing partnership, NASCAR and the Art Institute unveiled their 2024 joint pace car design to promote the museum's forthcoming Georgia O'Keeffe exhibit, "My New Yorks" at the 2024 Chicago Auto Show.

Situated adjacent to the Chicago Street Race footprint, the Art Institute of Chicago has been one of NASCAR's strongest advocates and tourism partners since the inception of the race. In 2023, NASCAR Chicago and Art Institute of Chicago unveiled a co-branded pace car at the 2023 Chicago Auto Show, showcasing the Art Institute's new Van Gogh exhibit.
