In anticipation of the inaugural Chicago Street Race Weekend, NASCAR partnered with the Chicago History Museum for a special exhibit to showcase the long history of motorsports in the Second City.
The lobby display, which was free and open to the public without paid admission, allowed Chicagoans and visitors alike a glimpse into the past, present, and future of racing in the city — from America’s first auto race in 1895 to a full Next Gen NASCAR show car on display to the public.
