CHICAGO HISTORY MUSEUM
In 2023, NASCAR Chicago partnered with the Chicago History Museum to feature last year’s 23XI McDonald’s Toyota Camry show car; and this year the pop-up experience has greatly expanded!
In anticipation of the Chicago Street Race Weekend in 2024, NASCAR Chicago is teaming up with the Chicago History Museum once again for a special pop-up experience to showcase the long history of motorsports in the Windy City. The lobby display, which is open to the public, allows Chicagoans and visitors alike a glimpse into the past, present, and future of racing in the city. This year, the pop-up experience is expanding with photos, memorabilia, race facts, gear from the inaugural Chicago Street Race and two visits from Bubba Wallace's 23XI 2024 NASCAR Cup Series McDonald’s Toyota Camry show car (make sure you don’t miss it – arriving May 24-29 and June 18-July 1 only).
The Chicago Street Race Experience will be open May 24 - July 7

MORE ABOUT THE CHICAGO HISTORY MUSEUM
The Chicago History Museum is situated on ancestral homelands of the Potawatomi people, who cared for the land until forced out by non-Native settlers. Established in 1856, the Museum is located at 1601 N. Clark Street in Lincoln Park, its third location. A major museum and research center for Chicago and U.S. history, the Chicago History Museum strives to be a destination for learning, inspiration, and civic engagement.
Through dynamic exhibitions, tours, publications, special events and programming, the Museum connects people to Chicago’s history and to each other. The Museum collects and preserves millions of artifacts, documents, and images to assist in sharing Chicago stories. The Museum gratefully acknowledges the support of the Chicago Park District on behalf of the people of Chicago.
